I do not plan to change my last name after marriage, the reason being I believe it should be what I am born with. I don’t want my identity to change because I am marrying someone, knowing that only women are asked this to do.

Surprisingly, my fiance is okay with it too.
He too believes in equality and wants me to do what I want.
